Mikey J Moreno
Musical Director / Drums

Mikey J was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where he began his musical career at a young age marching in the 1997 Tournament of Roses Honor Band. He graduated UCLA with a BA in Ethnomusicology and was fortunate enough to perform with Gwen Stefani for most of her Harajuku Lovers Tour and television appearances. Mikey J was also the drummer for Paula Abdul when she performed on HSN, (Home Shopping Network). Mikey J is and has been the drummer for several Las Vegas shows that include Vegas! The Show! Pop Evolution, BBR, Lon Bronson’s Celebrity Roast Band, Jozef Bobula Trio and sub on the Frankie Moreno show, Surf the Musical, The Rat Pack is Back, V-The Ultimate Variety Show, etc.

Jim Buck
Guitar, Bass, Back up Vocals

Jim moves around in the Grimm band. His primary role is as Bass player, but subs in guitar, drums, mandolin and more. Jim also chimes in as back up vocalist.
Jim Buck is from NYC. He currently lives in Las Vegas. Jim is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. Jim brings a deep knowledge of soul and blues to any musical situation. He has cherished his friendship and musical brotherhood with Michael for almost 15 years.

Bill Zappia

Bill Zappia, plays keyboards with Michael Grimm. He is also musical director for Terry Fator at the Mirage Hotel and Casino and was previously musical director for Sheena Easton. Bill has played countless shows throughout Las Vegas and is in demand as a session player, composer, arranger and producer.

John Wedemeyer

John Wedemeyer has been playing guitar with Michael Grimm since 2008. Originally from Los Gatos, California John spent many years touring the world, recording and performing with a variety of artists such as blues harmonica master Charlie Musselwhite, former Grateful Dead/Tubes keyboardist Vince Welnick, Curtis Salgado, John Lee Hooker, Bonnie Raitt, and many, many others.
Since moving to Las Vegas in 2006 John has played with artists like Clint Holmes, Wayne Newton, Donny and Marie Osmond, Martin Nievera, David Foster, Kristin Chenoweth, Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns and many others as well as in several Strip production shows including “Surf! – The Musical”, Cirque du Soleil and “The Addams Family”.

Nikki Logan
Back Up Singer

Born in Utica, New York, Nikki started singing professionally at the age of 15. Since relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, her vocal career has been on a fast track to success. She is a Songwriter that has traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Russia, Japan & China where she has shared her talents in Jazz, R&B, Neo-Soul, Funk, Brazilian Jazz & Disco. Nikki is the winner of multiple Las Vegas Black Music Awards for “Best Neo-Soul Performer” and “Best Urban Soul Performer.”

Jassen Allen
Back Up Singer

Originally from Nebraska, Jassen Allen has entertained all over the world! Featured performances include a European tour for the Department of Defense to raise the moral of troops overseas during the Gulf War, various cruise ships for Norwegian and Carnival Cruise Lines as a production singer, as well as performing for various production companies like Greg Thompson Productions and Wayne Foster Entertainment. Jassen is also a featured Thesbian, with highlight roles in A Knight’s Life and Dreamgirls. Since moving to Las Vegas, he’s become a regular guest entertainer at many establishments throughout the city and was recently hand picked to perform in choirs behind recording artist Rosanne Cash, and music icon Barbra Streisand.
